The Bakersfield and East Bakersfield Optimist Clubs are joining forces to conduct a special event.  We would very much like you to come to our Respect for Law Dinner and Awards Banquet on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the East Bakersfield Veterans Hall located at 2101 Ridge Road, Bakersfield,  California 93305.  The program starts at 6:00 p.m.

At this event, we honor a person from each of the law enforcement departments in Bakersfield.  This will include the Police Department, Sheriff Department, California Highway Patrol, City Fire Department, County Fire Department, and Probation Department (Juvenile Division).  We will also honor a private citizen that has done something positive for the community.
